Giraftrack Hire

New for 2010.

We are proud to announce the purchase of the UK’s first Giraftrack from Belgium. This is a specialist machine based on a caterpillar excavator undercarriage and a merlo boom. Any of our existing telescopic attachments will fit the machine, in addition to some specialist attachments coming with it.

The machine we have is fitted with blade, cab and wide choice of attachments, including a parallelogram basket, which will reach to 20m with a pay load of 400kg. It is the blade, and the payload which make this machine unique, as there are lots of machines which will lift to 20m, but not with a payload usually above 200 kg. With the tracks and blade we will be able to operate in extreme sites, using the blade as an anchor.

We are expecting this machine to be operating throughout the country on specialist projects. We have a dedicated low loader to transport the machine anywhere required, and good fully trained operators to undertake the work on site.
