Grain Storage
We provide a grain storage and handling service to our customers who are looking for a farm assured facility without investing money on their own farms. We have a weighbridge and storage capacity to hold up to 5000 tonnes of wheat, barley and oats.
A 25-tonne-per-hour drier is used to dry the grain down to 14%.
We are flexible in how we operate, in that some customers store long term, others use us as extra storage capacity if they need it in a bumper year. some will sell to us, or take the grain back either whole or rolled to feed to their own livestock.
A 4-tonne-per-hour roller mill is built into the drying plant, so when not drying grain, the elevators are used for supplying this equipment. An outside 29-tonne overhead bin is used to fill the trailers quickly with product.
