Kibbled Chalk We are pleased to be able to supply Lumped Chalk again for cattle shed floors. The quarry closed 2 years ago, but we are pleased to announce that it has re opened. The product is available in 20 tonne loads, and is a mixture of lump chalk and fines, which with a plate compactor will go down hard on shed floors, but at the same time allow moisture to drain away.
Cattle stay drier than when on concrete, and require less straw. The floor should last for many years, and can always be topped up when neccesary. Price on application depending on haulage distance. |
