KUHUN DIRECT DRILL

A 4m drill complete with foam-lining, is available for establishing arable crops direct into stubble or other crops. We establish the majority of our own crops with this machine, and have fantastic results with Wheat, Oats, OSR, Maize, Kale, Spring Barley. The principle of the machine is based around heavy wavey discs, which produce a tilth 5" deep, into which the seed is placed accurately by the following discs.
Trash is no problem at all and the new crop will grow up through the protection of the previous crop residue. The cost savings are phenonimal for this system.

The pictures here below, show Kale direct drilled into permanent pasture which was sprayed with Roundup and Trifluralin. The grass then died off and the Kale came on.
